These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of PlanIt Party Planner, Cards.ai and Party Snapz (together, the “Apps”), provided by Maverick Apps (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, accessing or using any of the Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Apps.

Using the Apps

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Apps. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. You agree to use the Apps only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Your Content

Our Apps let you create and share content — invitations, guest lists, RSVPs, shopping lists, menus, messages, and photos uploaded to shared event albums (“Your Content”). You retain ownership of Your Content. By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store and display it solely for the purpose of operating the Apps and delivering the features you request, such as sharing an invitation or album with your guests.

You are responsible for Your Content and for having the necessary rights and permissions to share it, including the consent of any guests appearing in photos you upload. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates the privacy or rights of others.

AI-Generated Content

Party Planner and Cards.ai use artificial intelligence to help generate invitation backgrounds, shopping lists and menu suggestions. AI-generated content is provided “as is” and may occasionally be inaccurate or require your review before use. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing it with others.

Guest Access & Shared Content

Party Snapz and other in-app sharing features allow guests to join an event and upload or view content via a link, QR code or event code, without creating an account. As the event organizer, you are responsible for who you share that access with, and for any configurable limits (such as guest upload limits) you set.

Subscriptions & Purchases

Some features, such as extended photo limits in Party Snapz, are offered through paid monthly or yearly subscriptions or one-time purchases, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices and included features are shown in the App at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple’s and Google’s respective policies.

Intellectual Property

The Apps, including their design, features, templates, graphics and the PlanIt name and logo, are owned by Maverick Apps and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for Your Content, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Apps without our prior written consent.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Apps for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
  • Upload content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the rights of any third party;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Apps, other users’ accounts, or our systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Apps or servers.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Apps for accounts that violate these Terms.

Third-Party Services

The Apps may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as messaging apps used to send invitations, or app store payment systems). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Apps are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the Apps will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maverick Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Apps, including loss of data, photos, or event content.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the Apps or on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
